Family is everything to “Fast X” protagonist Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), and he must defend them from the bloodthirsty Dante (Jason Momoa) when the new villain emerges to take his revenge in the latest installment of the “Fast & Furious” film franchise.
"Fast X" director Louis Leterrier ("The Incredible Hulk," "Clash of the Titans," "Now You See Me") has already been selected to return and helm the 11th entry in the series (per Variety), but Diesel doesn’t think that "Fast X: Part 2" will be the last time fans see Toretto in all his earth-scorching action.
“As filmmakers, you want to allow people to enjoy the film without tipping the hat too much,” Diesel said during an interview with Deadline. “I can say this. Going into making this movie, the studio had asked if this could be a two-parter. And after the studio saw this, part one, they said, could you make ‘Fast X,’ the finale, a trilogy?”
Diesel was then asked about the possibility of a 12th entry, and the actor didn’t mince words with Fandango's Nan Perez. “We probably are,” the "Fast & Furious" franchise star revealed. Early screenings for “Fast X” begin at 3 p.m. EDT on Thursday.
